An Attorney of Note: Lebogang George

Ms. Lebogang George is a Partner at AJA/MCL as well as an attorney admitted to the High Courts of Botswana with extensive experience in commercial law, procurement law, ICT law, IT governance, and data protection & privacy law (Botswana, South Africa & EU). She specializes in drafting and negotiating complex software agreements and advising clients on compliance and governance. Lebogang has a strong track record of developing data strategies, providing data protection and corporate governance training, and conducting privacy impact assessments for public and private sector clients. Her expertise covers Botswana DPA, POPIA and GDPR.

Lebogang is a thought leader with publications in data protection and has been invited to speak on numerous occasions at various conferences on data protection and AI. She actively contributes to public education and awareness through webinars. Lebogang recently got appointed onto the Women in Mining Botswana Executive Committee as Secretary.
